Ok Lucy. First, no more caffeine. Next, close your eyes and count down from 6,753 all the way to zero, taking a deep, controlled, slow breath with each count. You should start to calm down by 6, 500 or so.
Now, grab a piece of paper, and make a list of EVERY single thing that is bothering you, stressing you out, things that need to get done...etc.
Now, prioritize the list in terms of what is bothering you most.
Next, identify which of the things on your list are things you can and cannot control. You might find that alot of the things you worry about are not things that you can control.
If this persists for more than a few days, seek help from a shrink and they will help you through it.

You should talk to your doctor as soon as you can. Are you taking anything for this?
I get that way a lot too,but i have been taking Klonopin and it's been helping for the past 3 weeks I've been taking it. But I still have severe anxiety/panic attacks every once in a while but that's better then compared to almost every day.
When you're at work just try to focus on something, anything that will help you calm down. I chew gum like crazy when I'm in a situation like that.
I wish you the best of luck.

I'm sorry you are having such trouble. Keep the light down and try breathing exercises if you can. Breathe slowly in and out. Try taking a nap. Reduce stress and pressures. After you calm yourself, I would talk to someone about this. There are healthy ways to deal with stess that is best learned. Yes, there are anti-anxiety drugs, but it is best to find out why this happens. Maybe you can call a friend and tell them what you keep thinking about, if you are doing that. A lot of times people close to me have told me what they are thinking, and it usually helps.

Panic attacks suck. I suffered for them for a year and unfortunately I got hooked on Ativan. Now I'm free from it, but I still struggle with anxiety. Now I take standardized Valerian Root when I feel panicky, I avoid caffeine and I start writing down a list of things I am grateful for. As strange as that sounds, if I redirect my thinking, instead of focusing on what is making me panic, I can often turn around my attacks.
Try the natural route first, but if things get out of hand, don't rule out medication. It sounds like you may have a disorder that may require meds for a while.
Good luck to you.

I have these alot actually. Sometimes they are caused from to much caffine (eat bread)....But if it is not then run a hot bath and turn the lights out and have you a candle lite. If you are of age wine or a nice cocktail is good to. Another thing that works for me is working out. I hope this helps , been there it is not FUN....

Breath deeply and slowly. In and out. Count it out slowly. When you have paced yourself breathing, close your eyes and go to your happy place, a place in your mind where you feel safe and happy. It may be real or imaginary. Go there and stay there until you feel calm and collected. This is called taking a mental vacation.

Get away from your normal environment. Go for a walk, go somewhere and just relax and breath. If it's not better in a little bit, go to the doctor's.

you could always go shut yourself in the bathroom for a few and calm down. it's a good place to be alone and away from everyone for a bit. just know if you don't calm down you can always go home, make a goal for yourself today to make it through, then go home and treat yourself to something nice.
