What is your thinking on Revelation? (Please answer in a nice way)

BTW Witnesses can answer this question to help the others. Thanks everyone!

To me, I think it's so wonderful in knowing whats going to happen and that Jehovah is going to bring about the destruction of the wicked, Satan, and the unrighteousness and so much more, to bring in the paradise. I would love to live in the new system where there isn't any corruption at all.

Revelation 9:20, 21: But the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands, so that they should not worship the demons and the idols of gold and silver and copper and stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their spiritistic practices nor of their fornication nor of their thefts.

Rev. 9:16-18: And the number of the armies of cavalry was two myriads of myriads: I heard the number of them. And this is how I saw the horses in the vision, and those seated on them: they had fire-red and hyacinth-blue and sulphur-yellow breastplates; and the heads of the horses were as heads of lions, and out of their mouths fire and smoke and sulphur issued forth. By these three plagues a third of the men were killed, from the fire and the smoke and the sulphur which issued forth from their mouths.

Rev. 9:7-10
And the likenesses of the locusts resembled horses prepared for battle; and upon their heads [were] what seemed to be crowns like gold, and their faces [were] as men’s faces, but they had hair as women’s hair. And their teeth were as those of lions; and they had breastplates like iron breastplates. And the sound of their wings [was] as the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle. Also, they have tails and stings like scorpions; and in their tails is their authority to hurt the men five months.

Rev. 9:1-6
And the fifth angel blew his trumpet. And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key of the pit of the abyss was given him. And he opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke ascended out of the pit as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun was darkened, also the air, by the smoke of the pit. And out of the smoke locusts came forth upon the earth; and authority was given them, the same authority as the scorpions of the earth have. And they were told to harm no vegetation of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And it was granted the [locusts], not to kill them, but that these should be tormented five months, and the torment upon them was as torment by a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6 And in those days the men will seek death but will by no means find it, and they will desire to die but death keeps fleeing from them.

I'm looking forward to the Tribulation & the new system

It sounds scary because of the symbolism used; beasts with sharp teeth and claws, multiple-headed beasts...and many churches don't give explanations of Revelations, passing it off as a "mystery".

But when you start loooking into it, you find that these beasts and other symbols represent world powers and governments from Bible times till now. Maybe it's scary to some because the government they trust in is already starting to crash according to prophecy. It's obvious that man cannot rule himself.

It's interesting though that people are reacting to the news we are showing them from the Bible in just the way describes; as if they've tasted a bitter message; and as the sting of a scorpion, (Rev 5:4-6) Some totally overreact to us as if we were holding a weapon on them, but we know the same happened to Jesus and the Apostles. Maybe it's a cover-up for being scared. Anyone who reads the Bible knows right from wrong, it's not like we've pulled these messages out of our hat. Maybe they know what the Bible contains but they don't want to change their way of life.

I wish people could understand that we are fulfilling a prophecy of the "last days" by preaching in all the inhabited earth and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14) And that we are inviting them to "test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God.” We don't want them to be like those in the days of Noah; the people went along with their daily life, laughing at Noah until the Flood came and swept them all away. It's the same today; people refuse to acknowledge the truth of whats in the Bible but we are told in Matthew 7:22,23 that "Not everyone saying Lord, Lord will enter..."

We want everyone just to take notice that we are at the brink of the last prophecy,(all others in the Bible having come true down to the last detail) where Jehovah warns “Too bad, too bad—the great city, clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet, and richly adorned with gold ornament and precious stone and pearl, because in one hour such great riches have been devastated!” All the finery of ecclesiastical garments and the magnificence of the world’s great cathedrals built with money taken out of the mouths in need will be gone forever! (Revelation 18:9-17)
He will destroy this wicked system of things and usher in his promise of eternal life in perfection. Psalms 37:29, Rev 21:4, Psalms 72:15, Isaiah 33:24

It's wonderful to know that there are logical answers in Rev and that the New Order is soon to come.

The Revelation of Jesus is exactly what the book is about..If it is scary to some I guess they they are in fear not reverence of Him.
Unfortunately people like the to think that God's word is spooky and in turn emulate this as truth... God's word is everything but that in fact it is more practical and ethical . It's too bad humans make life so complicated and uninviting...

Paradise would be nice but the word says the earth will abide forever and everything in it..So maybe it will be another dimension of life where paradise will be..This life as we know it will continue on and on except life for the believers....

I guess it is scary but I find it extremely exciting.
You can see it unfolding right before your eyes if you have a understanding of the revelation.
I know problems are coming and it is easy to say it don't scare me now ,it maybe a different matter when the worst of it hits but knowledge of what is happening and trust in god and Jesus will bring some comfort.
It is one of the many reasons I am making the effort to draw close to Jehovah.

Let me count the ways (or some of them) that this is a terrifying chronicle of future events: A great earthquake (read, of higher magnitude that the Richter scale can measure). Tree's, grass, other foliage burned up. The potable waters bitter (so that humans -not the crazy goths running around right now- drink blood) . Something like a mountain (on fire) thrown into the sea. Which kills one third of the sea life.

And, who can forget, that satan gives its power to the beast; who then gets to 'wage war' with Christians and WIN !!! Thus, a whole bunch of 21st century martyrs.

And, who can forget Danial's prophecy's, one being that "those with insight will teach the many"...but, also that a whole bunch of "hypocrites" will join with them and then betray them. Most likely to the commanders of the beast's army. Who will then either kill us or put us in concentration camps.

Naw. I ain't afraid of no ghost !! ROFL....I'd deny it too and call it a fairy tale; if I wasn't so honest.

You think the book of Revelation is scary? Try dreaming many of the events of Revelation, knowing it had a significance and purpose to the dream and then getting saved and reading what you dreamed. Does that make sense? Well it happened to me I was completely taken back. That's how i know it has to be true. How can one dream about something you never heard of?

Revelation is a wonderful book of hope. It reminds us that, in the end, we are all God's children, and we will all live in peace with God, no matter how much pain and sorrow we are suffering today. It isn't scary at all.

Revelation wouldn't be scary to a Christian because he won't be here on Earth during the Tribulation.
