I just got a brand new system in my '00 Saturn. I have a 12" Alpine Type-R Sub in the trunk, and it sounds great inside the car. The only problem is outside the car, all you can hear is the rattling of my rear license plate frame. Does anyone know of any ideas (while preserving the look of the frame) to get it to stop rattling. Or does anyone know of any Specialized License plate frames that are rattle-Free?? I have heard of the Dynamat License plate frames, but i do not like how they look and how they say "My stereo is better than yours" or something stupid like that on the top.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put some foam (or cardboard) inside the frame so it fills the space between the frame and the plate to absorb the shock. That will silence it.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

Dynomat makes something just for license plates. Check your local car audio shop or E Bay.

dynamat has a licence plate kit, can be bought just about anywhere that sells dynamate, that should do the trick.

a few dabs of silicone sealant between the plate and frame is the best cure
