A friend of my brothers overstayed in the UK 4 years also worked taxi-ing illegally. He went back to Pakistan & his visa has been refused 3 times on 3 different basis. His wife has just now got a british passport, because of the whole 2003 amnesty deal thing, (she wasseeking asylum on a false basis, but hey look because of the wonderful british immigration service, she got a british passport and well everything else that comes along with it) anyway they have 3 daughters the youngest of which was born in the UK. His visa was rejected the first time because of the fact that he overstayed, second time because his wife was on benefits, third time becase his wife applied as a full time student but again she was still on benefits, and there's thes he going to apply in a few months as working full time and that she will be able to support him financially. And well now her and her children have british passports. I want to know is there any chance of him getting back in to the uk any time soon

I get so annoyed when I hear of people overstaying there welcome and exploiting our system!

I know in my heart it is not the peoples fault, it is our governments fault for allowing just about everyone from all over the world to collect our benefits!

Yes I pay tax and I don't mind British people being on the dole but the thought of a non native getting benefits truly sickens me!

Soon we will be over run!

Every year more British people leave the UK than foriegners coming in - my sister in law moved abroad as she could no longer stand the way this country is going and that makes me sad and angry!

I am no grass but I would grass an illegal immigrant - they are really taking the mickey out of us Brits, taking our jobs and our homes!

I think the rest of the world must think we are just completly crazy and they wouldnt be far wrong..........

Too think l voted for the labour government too, never ever again!!!!

He's only going to get a visa if the Home Office are satisfied that he would not need public support including housing. They may also take into account his immigration history, it seems that they have recently become stricter on this. Nevertheless, it is likely that eventually, if she is in regular employment and has somewhere for them to live, she will succeed in bringing him here.

er you asking the wrong question, the question should be 'should they all be sent back to pakistan' and i would say yes. That is an awful situation that highlights why they come here, money, benefits etc that im pretty sure they dont get in Pakistan.

Its ok to overstay your visa. Its so racist to have a immigration policy. Its so racist of the british goverment to stop terrorists. Dont they understand. God the British offend me.

If you have anything you wish to add to (ie against) his application then go to the FCO website, find the email address of the HIgh Commission he is applying to in Pakistan and email them.

What about telling Pakistan to take you and your children back & let their DSS service look after you. We have enough British people to look after without having overseas paracites.

Your Statement is 'self-explanitory'... they knew they had over-stayed their wecome here in the UK... Apart from breaking the immigration rules and not paying UK income tax and National Insurance.... you still 'offer' excuses on their behalf... if they broke the rules.... they suffer the consequences... simple!!

Be inventive. Who knows ? Getting into this country seems like pot luck. Perhaps buy him a Polish passport ( whoops, only joking, but apparently they are cheap !! ) Seriously, good luck to him. Seems a shame to split up his family.
