Well, I could give you the glib Robin Williams answer of,
"Reality. What a concept!"
But instead, I will offer what I know.
Reality is the physical manifestation of creation. When I say "creation" I am not necessarily speaking to the idea of a god creation. I am speaking to what we create.
In it's simplest form, making the evening meal is the physical manifestation of the cuisine you are creating. Dinner then becomes reality for all those who will eat it. In it's more complex form, it is the energy we give off in thought and emotion that creates our physical reality. In short, we are the creators of our own reality. The metaphysical aspect to what and who we are and what we create and perceive.
Have you ever noticed that homilies like "misery loves company" is very real for those who are negative? They seem to attract, over and over again, situations that support the reality that life is all suffering and misery. They, without conscious knowledge of it, create the reality they believe to be real. The same thing happens for those with a positive approach to life. Things always seem to go well for them. They are looked upon as "lucky" yet luck has little or nothing to do with it. What they give off, what they do, attracts a rosy reality for them.
Reality then, is what we make of it.

The individual perception of him/herself, people, facts, the world, the universe and spirituality. The individual conclusion based on his/her experiences and intuition. We perceive our reality, but we might as well make reality by making choices everyday. For example, with my positive thoughts, I can make my day happier, therefore I am making my own positive reality, and the same with the negative thoughts.
Reality is also what we believe it is. I believe in Spirits, therefore they become MY reality, and it doesn't matter to me if someone else doesn't believe in spirits, because they are my reality and they are in MY experiences of life.
Reality is not absolute to everyone...
Peace!

When something or someone is no longer just a theory to you or a teaching, or an observation or doctrine. This person or matter has become real to you. You have experienced and have a deeper realization of this particular matter. The result is that you are no longer the same as you were before having this realization. It profoundly affects your life and how you live it.

Reality is that we are NOT physical bodies but eternal souls and the aim of our souls through our human bodies is to merge with our creator. Everything else is ever changing and hence nothing more than an illusion.

Heart felt thanks to Sir. Albert Einstein for giving us the greatest invention of manking
"Theory of Relativity"
There is nothing in this world is real, everything is related to something.
Nothing is Real is the REALITY
What is your time now: for you it is real, but for someone else it is not real.
Look at a star in the sky, it is not real. Its light left the star 4 years back. Now you are seeing it.
Light from Sun takes 8 minutes to reach. So the Sun you see is not in its position where you think it is.

What remains for ever is real. In that case nothing in this world is real except matter and space that remain indestructible as they are unborn and they existed always and would also exist for ever whatever happens to the univnerse .They shall never vanish.but all the forms and images that the matter composes , will vanish after sometime
What is real is the being that looks like a non-being - the space .
"I am the heat that withholds
and sends down the rains;
I am immortality and death
BOTH BEING AND NON-BEING AM I."
lord Krishna in Bhagavad-Gita

As far as physical things are concerned what u see is reality.
As far as spiritual and philosophical things are concerned there is nothing real. If u believe and feel it is real, if u don't believe it is unreal.
