My one year old is either pooping rocks or has loose acid like stools that burn and trun her botton red and putting rash ointment on hurts her.
I have her on goats milk since weening her because of this issue. I make sure she is getting lots of fiber in her diet. Has anyone had this problem?

She will not drink any kind of juice (she hates juice) She also eats lots of fruits and vegies. I switched her to the Goats milk after trying whole milk for the first 3 weeks. I read that goats milk is the next best thing to breast milk after weening if the toddler is having problems with whole milk. I have also been diluting the goats milk with water, thinking she was getting to much dairy plus goats milk is like $12 a gallon. She will only drink milk water. I do use suppositories but sometimes it seems like she is going to split in two when she is trying to push. Her Dr. didn't seem to worried about it when I had her in for her 12 month well vist.

Have you tried Pediasure? It's a soy based drink. I have also heard that most people, if allergic to dairy do not tolerate goats milk well if it's a true allergy. Pediasure comes in a vanilla flavor if she doesn't care for the fruit flavors. It also comes in "with fiber" formula. It's great for them, if a bit expensive. When my son weaned he wouldn't touch milk, so our pediatrician suggested Pediasure and he took to it right away.

As far as now, a little bit of prune puree, or any fruit that she cares for seems to make things move... Best of luck to you!

Try to think when this started happenind. Maybe it was something she ate on her own. My niece was just like that a year ago then a week after she pooped out a rubber band. Perhaps its the change of milk. But if the constipation doesn't clear up after two days you need to take her to the doctor. The doctor will perform a rectal exam to see what is wrong with her.
Usually when my daughter is constipated I either feed her gerber prune juice or buy suppositories. But that's when she's straining herself to have a bowel movement.

Stop dairy, try either soy, rice, or almond milk and give her some pear juice for the constipation it is more gentle then apple juice with the same outcome.

I think the goat milk, is causing her bowels to be
irregular, one minute she is constipated the next she
is loose, at her age it should'nt be this way, so take
her off the goat milk, and feed her lots of fruit either
in baby food or the fruit itself, to regulate the bowel
movement,back to normal.

Try giving her some Kayro Syrup. Just put about a tablespoon in her bottle it should help.
