Is this a better use of the word their in the sentence?

If man evolved from monkeys why are their donkeys still?

I can remember seeing an answer about how donkeys are holy because they have crosses on their backs.
I wish I'd copied it,I've never seen anything so funny.

if you did ur homework you would come across scientific evidence that stipulates that man did not evolve from monkeys, but rather, man and monkeys both evolved from a common ancestor quite some time ago. This is why you do not see half-monkeys-half-humans walking around today. only those of the same species can reproduce.
that is why a mule--the product of a donkey and a horse--is sterile and unable to reproduce

I take it the typo in that sentence is typing "their" instead of "there".
