I read in todays paper that immigrants are being given priority on the housing list.. I think it is totally unfair. My daughter has been waiting 3 years for housing and yet these people come into this country and given housing.

WELL"AL J" LET S GET THINGS STRAIGHT. YES THE BRITS DO GO ABROAD TO LIVE BUT THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OTHER COUNTRYS UNLESS THEY HAVE A JOB AND MONEY AS THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CLAIM BENEFITS. IT IS TRUE THAT SOME BRITS MISBEHAVE WHEN ON HOLIDAY ABROAD BUT THEY ARE JUST ON HOLIDAY AND NOT STAYING. WHEN WE GO ABROAD WE DO NOT TAKE HOUSING FROM THE PEOPLE OF THAT COUNTRY WE HAVE TO LOOK AFTER OURSELVES. THE PAPER TODAY WAS THE DAILY MAIL?? I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT WHAT THE PAPER SAID IS TRUE AS I HAVE IMMIGRANTS LIVING NEAR ME AND THEY HAVE ONLY BEEN IN THE COUNTRY A FEW MONTHS AND THEY HAVE HOUSES. AS FOR THE HOMELESS IMMIGRANTS WELL THERE IS AN AWFUL LOT OF HOMELESS BRITS WHO GET NOTHING.

It makes me sick. We nearly got made homeless with our baby son last year and we were told that the Council had "no Council Housing available", that the waiting lists for Housing Associations were around 5-6 years long and we'd just have to save to up to privately rent. Most private landlords won't even take Housing Benefit. And yet Asylum seekers get housed all the time - I know someone who works for Wales and West Housing and she admitted as much.

No Name is a moron and is probably a lazy sponging
migrant who is proud to be screwing this country for all its worth.

For your info, No Name, "good jobs" are hard to come by even for those with an education (As a graduate I have this problem) and even if you do have a good job it doesn't guarantee you can afford to buy or even rent a house these days with the huge cost of housing. People can be on the housing waiting list for all sorts of reasons - mortgage repossession, unable to afford private rents or buy for instance. You are a complete idiot to suggest that they are "lazy".

Now go and cash that giro that has been paid for by British Taxpayers' money.

As for "AJ" yes I'm sure he bought his house years ago when they were still cheap. He obviously has no idea how hard it is for young couples to get themselves hosed today. Typical middle class moron. "I'm all Right Jack - I only care about immigrants - sod British people". Reverse racism against British people, snobbery and arrogance. I hope he gets made homeless and then gets to see what its like.

Oh and before you make some snotty comment about how I should "get a job" and buy my own house, well I am looking after my son at the moment but we have got a mortgage which my partner works 2 minimum wage jobs, 12+ hours a day to pay for. So you are not paying for anything for us.

I think this is a figment of the imagination of a newspaper editor somewhere and basically your daughter doesn't have enough points to qualify for housing. If people are legally allowed into this country, by the government you legally elected, then the public only has themselves to blame. I would point out that there has been a general election since the start of the current immigrant policies of New Labour. Today the Express claimed that ALL new jobs in the last four years had gone to immigrants. Anybody with an ounce of grey matter can see that this is just inflammatory and irresponsible reporting simply intented to sell newspapers and stir up racial tension and reflect badly on the government.

you know papers have an agenda to make people think they are on the side of people on housing lists. to be honest do you think Rupert Murdoch and his ilk give a damn about people who are on housing lists. have you ever seen a paper for example put forward the name of one county official that says yes we are housing this person over another. you know why because they know jolly well that there is no such thing. what they hope is that does on the housing lists get mad and do a riot so they can call the protesters animals are scum. they do that all the time. A few years ago if you look up that paper i bet they had single unmarried mothers were getting the houses just to cause rows. its the way Murdoch and his lot work. they all form what i call the Daily Scare. the name i give to the Daily Mail in fact.

trust me its all bull i know people who work in councils and they tell me that its not immigrants that are causing the problems really there are other things. such as families that have grown and need larger houses. then they have to sometimes fix up the houses before giving the house to someone else. then they offer it to someone and they won't take it as someone died in it are some other reason. so it waits and you know one thing most immigrants when they go to the house do not know of the history of the house so take it. so maybe if people were not so squeamish about deaths taking place in a house then they would not have been moved down.

I totally agree with you. If I want to go and live in another country I would have to have a job and a home. I would also have to live by their rules.
How is it that we are building more and more Mosques in this country. Why does the average school class have fewer English students than Foreigners?
India wanted Independence from Great Britain which it got, so why are we giving them £2 billion aid every year?
Both my wife and I work, we have our own house and a car. Each month is a struggle to make ends meet. But it fecks me off no end when you see the immigrants driving around in cars they have not paid for, talking on their mobiles, wearing the latest fashions. Feck me I just one of the idiots who pay tax to pay for all this.
It's about time we had somebody in central government with some balls to sort out this mess. Why is the Englishman a second rate citizen in his own country?

Just a teeny point, but why are there any British homeless people at all, given that we are able to house those from abroad. For foreigners there is always the option of going home, for British people this is our home and we have nowhere else to go. My partner is Malaysian and that is the position the Malaysian government takes. Had they not Malaysia would have been bought up lock stock and barrel by the chinese business community long ago. Thus the ' Malay First ' policy.

The establishment in Britain are going to have to grasp this nettle one day. Even second generation ethnic minority British people are getting fed up with the present situation.

Not happy about it. I was born in the UK, i pay my taxes, i work and due to certain unhappy circumstances I am currently sleeping on my mates sofa with all my gear in storage and unable to get the money together to be able to afford a deposit and rent. and unable to get a studio flat on the council. If you ask me unless you have a job offer and a place to live or money to support yourself then you should be turned around as you enter the UK and sent back. There is only so much this small island can take. I know some of them come from terrible condictions but things are getting bad here too. I am more concerned about my country than anyone elses. I think if you have made no contribution to the country then you can't expect to take from it. When people come here, they should rent their own place, get a job and start making a contribution then they too can join the queue to get the house of the council but it is totally unfair to those of us who are struggling to live here, have been making contributions for years and have to wait years for housing. In other words i am totally p***ed off about the whole immigration situation at the moment.

I think our Politicians have been trying to behave like they still are the " Bees Knees" like they were during the Imperialistic era. Now they have to somehow rely on a Vote-bank to make good. Tell me how many politicians can be named for putting the needs of Their constituents before Party matters? Make a list and analyse the information of Councillors in most big Towns and cities in the UK. The picture that emerges will cause you sleepless nights if you are in favour of simple justice. It is not the fault of the Immigrants ,they are looking to have the best they can from life. BLAME THE POLITICIANS.

I agree sexybabe, This country is not ours anymore, the immigrants are taking over. They are talking about downgrading Christmas because the foreigners in this country don't like it. It about time we stood up for ourselves and stop letting these people dictate to us. The Government are run by foreigners. Britain and America are run by Jews and they are the ones who are dictating on how things are run. Lets keep Britain for the BRITISH!!!

I'm pissed off with it, my daughter is 25 been on the list for 3 years aswell and was told the other day that she would need to wait 5-10 years to get a flat/house, its ridiculous, she can't get on the property ladder as she does not earn enough although she works hard as a nursery nurse. She knows of immigrants who have come into the country and got a house with a garden straight away , its not fair and something should be done about it.
