According to some, animals have no soul, so killing them is okay, is torturing them okay? how about kicking them?

No living thing should be tortured. I don't believe it has anything to do with a soul - it's just a matter of respect.

First, atheism isn't a faith. that's a lack of religion. yet besides, no its by no skill alright to torture animals. you're stunning about the rigidity alleviation aspect yet in spite of non secular perspectives all atheists are nonetheless made to stay with social construct and the regulation. Torturing animals is illegitimate and hence, isn't "ok". different animals, as well feral cats, do not torture others. They kill for a reason. I don't think humans or animals have souls, but I don't think torturing them is right either, and if I found anyone kicking one of my dogs, they would get kicked right back and kicked right out the door.

They may not have souls, but they still experience pain, it's plain to see. Their spiritual non-existance does NOT justify cruel treatment of them. People are still responsible for their own actions.
Did you know that animal torture is a fairly sure sign of a future violent killer? They eventually move on to people, it's about causing a living creature pain. :(

I think that torturing animals shows that YOU don't have a soul. (the universal YOU, not you, Jay)
Part of our "humanity" should be a desire to use our superpowers for good and not evil, and to protect the dumb and innocent. We have to kill some to eat, but we should not get pleasure from any other being's fear & death.
Case in point: people who act this way as kids often end up as serial killers.

They have souls,(they will feel painful if you kick them,the cat will shout Mao if you pull its tail,the horse would cry his owner if he died)!...but animals don't have minds so they are not self aware!

I do like eating animals, though. They sure are tasty!

We live with in a spirit ...that in witch you do that is not holy will be held against you for eternity.. God forgives you if you repent but the spirit can not it's like pissing in a pool and trying to take your piss out even tho there's chlorine the piss is still there.
