I see no one can capitalize 'scientist' either. Now Atheist(s) aren't so alone.

Every person is a scientist, we all use the scientific method every single day. In everything we do. I would say science came first. Yeah.

Why would a scientist create religion considering they believe in evolution? That question doesn't make sense. I think religion came before science though.

Religion was created first. It gave man the ability to explain where we come from and where do we go when we die. Human beings are the only animal that can rationalize, plot and plan. After years and years of asking these questions came the study of science.

Religion came first. Science emerged from religion. Both attempt to rationalize and explain the world around us. I think of religion as a primitive precursor to science.

I think people sometimes use religion to control large groups of people, but I do not believe that is what it was originally created for.

I'd say that religion came before formal science, as religion dates back 30,000 to 35,000 years, not to mention the religions of the Neanderthals. Science, as a formal study, took much longer to develop as societies had most of their questions answered by religions.

No, humans created religion to explain the natural world and in hopes of gaining some degree of control over it.

religion came first because ppl had to have beliefs and a system of morals that they could grasp on to with faith since they did not have science to help explain anything.
