I suspect JWs are cheerfully optimistic about the situation for pre-Watchtower Society people because of their take on the resurrection doctrine. They say that after Armageddon everyone will be raised back to life on a paradise earth, with physical bodies. This will be a 1,000 year long 'day' of judgment where everyone will get a second chance. If they are good and follow Jehovah's organization then, they will grow to human perfection. Satan will be out of the way then (till the 1,000 years have ended) when another test will be taken to see who keeps faithful.

The vast majority of humanity will be resurrected. Only those who died during a period of God's judgment (like Armageddon) won't get a resurrection. But don't forget the Wt.Soc teaching on only 144,000 people getting to heaven; this means that from Christ till the Wt.Soc started only a few thousand Christians were anointed with the Holy Spirit and went to heaven. Hundreds of thousands of JWs have / still claim to be of the 144,000 class. So the salvation view is that a few thousand non JWs have been saved and that billions of others will get a second chance to prove they are worthy of salvation during the Millennium.

Because they are a cult who calls themselves christian but don't believe in God the son or holy spirit. There is no reasoning with a cult, they are taught to forget the teachings and only read a bastardized verson of the bible which has removed and changed the word. Any free thinking normal person couldn't swallow the chum they serve and the jevohas teach that if you don't follow them, you are evil. No relationship could survive that.

They prayed! Jehovah helped them. We use the Watchtower now as a tool... Granted the Watchtower was not around a long time ago, but Jehovah has never neglected his true worshiperes, nor will he ever! The Watchtower is a tool, where we can recieve information to help us understand the Bible better. We still ONLY use the Bible as the MAIN source of information for it is for where Jehovah gives us answers to our problems and tells us how to live our lives. Just like we pray today to our heavenly father Jehovah, those "prior to the Watchtower" as you put it, also prayed and their prayers were answered because as Ive said before, Jehovah never neglects his true worshipers.

Prayer helped.

The bible was relatively intact, and holy spirit acted.

Jehovah's Witnesses understand and agree that the religions of Christendom served some purpose prior to Christ's second presence (which began in 1914). A Witness who had understandingly requested and received Christian baptism prior to 1914, even by a non-Witness religion, did not have to be re-baptized into the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. To repeat, prior to 1914, the religions of Christendom served some purpose to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that many faithful Christians from the nineteen centuries between Christ's two presences will be among the "kings and priests" who rule alongside Jesus in heaven.

(Revelation 20:6) Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him

Of course, that nineteen centuries of tolerance was no excuse for clergymen and certain knowledgeable laymen to perpetuate practices they knew to be unscriptural. As He did with rebellious ancient Israel, Jehovah tolerated their polluted worship only until it was God's time for Christ to step in, as he did circa 33 CE and 1914 CE.

(James 4:17) If one knows how to do what is right and yet does not do it, it is a sin

actually sasi, there are only about 7000-8000 of those who have a heavenly hope still alive and claim to be of that group

My take on the pre-WBTS era is that they have just as much hope as those during the WBTS. If the "society" wasn't needed then, it sure isn't needed now to understand scripture. Help with understanding is what the "helper" or the Holy Spirit's job is.

So according to Auchtung Heiss....Prayer Helped? Let's see the proof! You are a Witness dictionary and concordance, and we usually have a toilet paper length of witness dogma from you..Wassup?

The truth of the matter is, they do not know for sure...they will tell you that Jesus was the first JW, but there is a lack of Jesus leading his Organization from his death until Pastor Russell came in to the picture to give the Witnesses truth...OOPS Russell did not give the entire truth, so he came in with some half truths, and by today's witness theology, compared to early Witness theology, we are down to about one tenth of the truth that their original Prophet came in with.

tTE hair specialist...Your self worship is boring. People who have 5 or 6 accounts to give themselves best answer are cheating (which is a disfellowshipping offense) and have no interest to anyone and are to be ignored.
