The Bible promises us, that if you look for God you will find him:

Matthew 7:Ask, Seek, Knock
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

No matter who we are, we are all sinful, even Chrisitans, none of us are perfect. Nothing we could ever do could earn us right standing with God.

John 3: 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God does not want to condemn or judge you, he wants to be your friend, he wants you to know the immense love he has for you. So since we could not pay the price for our wrongdoing, he paid it for us by sacrificing his own s

Jesus was human, he knows our weaknesses and our flaws, he came to call us as sinners, he accepts us as we are warts and all.

Hebrews 9:25Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself

We are declared right with God by believeing in the name of his son:

Acts 3:19
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

if you want this with your whole heart then pray this prayer

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your s

son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

No. Aside from the Bible, which is an absurdly untrustworthy document of dubious origins, there is no evidence for the existence of this person.

Even the apostles did not believe in the resurrection, even after they were told about it, until Jesus stood before them. That's a pretty high standard of truth.

I can't believe something just because a book says it's true.

I think we all have that part down, but there is the minor detail of there being no evidence that god exists or that the Bible is a trustworthy source of information about god. Once we clear that up then we can consider getting to know...

"The Bible promises us, that if you look for God you will find him:"

In which case, it lies, because many people honestly seek, but don't find. And seeing as it's supposed to be God's word, God must be a liar too, and not someone who I have any desire to worship or have as a role model.

That is not a question, it is a statement.

The statement is false.

God does NOT exist.

Even if it did, by biblical standards it is not worth knowing.

God does NOT exist
