does a soul exist after death?

A soul is not seperate from your self,despite d'cartes idea.if you die you die.....simple.you no longer exist.A spirit world does,but there are no earthly humans chillin out with ronald macdonald!!see you there

No, the soul only exists in people's imaginations. It is a vague concept that people cling onto because they don't like the idea of not existing. It is superstition.

I believe the souls lives on. The universe is so large and complex, there are an infinite number of possibilities. I wouldn't rule out a ghost or two chillin at Micky D's.

--IN THE MOVIES , maybe still in real life , a piolot is asked how many live souls are on the plane, they USUALLY say 100 live souls!
--IF SOMEONE dies most likely the will say 99 live souls and 1 dead soul!
--THAT INDICATES that the person as a being, soul, breather, etc. dies, because the "breather"(another meaning of the word soul) of which animals, fish, birds are also souls:(Genesis 1:20) “20 And God went on to say: “Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.””

--ADAM WAS just a dead body or soul before Jehovah God sparked him with the original breath of life which energized his cells & kept them going with oxogen, similar to when doctors use electricity to shock the heart back to life, but much more complicated!

The soul is not phiscal matter. I dont think when this muscel called the heart stops working I then lose awareness. I think we continue to live on. Self awareness or consciousness is metaphiscal, not phiscal matter. For example when some one is in a coma, and the body is encapable of functioning on its own, awareness is always there.

A soul , as I understand , is the non-physical part of life.

Since there is no evidence of such a thing existing Before death , I would imagine such a thing would also not exist After death..

if the soul is not seperate where is it? i can not find anything to call a soul or a self so i do not accept either theories. so if you can show me a soul or a self that is permanent eternal etc i will accept it but if you cant i wont

A better question would have been Does the soul exist? And there is yet to be conclusive evidence produced to prove it does.

if the soul did not exist then why have people been able to prove they have lived life's before,spirituality is a recognised religion............its level worked on is love vibration and what gets me is why others can not be accepting of that.
I speak to souls who have passed and I am not possessed by evil,to believe evil spirits exist and not good spirits is beyond me.........we come down to learn....to understand ,to love and forgive..........spirtiuality is the only religion which has not been quoted in a war,so I rest my case..........
