Probably because it was a rant and not a legitimate request for information.
If you were just going to pick the answer that matched your opinion anyway - then you need to re-consider why you posted it.

Generally Yahoo Answers will delete a post if it doesn't have a question involved. They don't consider this a discussion forum.

Happens to me all the time. I am on my fifth account in as many months and NONE of my violations have been because of profanity nor have I been disrespectful outside the lines of what most people would associate with typical debate. Get used to it, it is going to happen when their are people who dont want to hear other opinions or ones that are hypersensitive
Oh- "war supporter" here so it isnt a one way street

Ask for your points back. I recently answered a question about who would win a war between the US and China an d got a violation. I contacted YA and they reviewed the question and gave my points back.

You must have stated something offensive rather than just stating your opinion.Freedom of speech is a right of course, but sometimes public sources such as Yahoo and others may find it offensive or unacceptable for broadcast to others.Since it is their site, they do have the right of edit.

Probably because it violates Yahoo! Answer's content policy.
To quote the policy:
"Yahoo! Answers isn't a soapbox to vent personal frustrations or rant about issues."

Evidently someone reported you.....in their opinion your question was not appropriate. This happens all the time ....rephrase you question and try to post it again.

I have no idea why it would be deleted. It is a valid question.
