Problem: Can you please explain how someone can be a mixture of both atheist and theist? You believe or you dont.

Wiseman: 'reason can only lead you to conclude that a power more powerfull that the universe could create the universe' Whose reason, yours?! You think this, you think that? You can think whatever you want!

All I ever see in arguments from theists are dishonest strawman arguments. Such as "Adelaide B" below who says: The Big Bang says: "Something exploded from nothing." . Of course educated people know the Big Bang theory says no such thing.
Or we have the lie below by Affallon who says atheists do not want to learn the truth. Actually I want to know the truth more than anything. I have just come to the educated conclusion that his belief makes no sense.
My question is: Why do christians lie so much? Their dishonesty sure doesn't help their case.

I am a deist. I believe in God for scientific reasons not blind faith. You ignorant bigotry has made you dumb. If you could think, reason can only lead you to conclude that a power more powerfull that the universe could create the universe. That power would need to transcend time and space. Since the laws of physics are consistent I conclude that they must have been designed and that requires intelligence.
Being open minded is the intelligent way to be, unless evidence of a theory shows otherwise. The only time it's intelligent to be close-minded is when the evidence confirms or disproves something. No science confirms or disproves God.

Atheists simply do not believe in God or a divine power. They believe there is a scientific explanation for everything including life and why we are here (eg.evolution) and believe that we are just biological organisms. We live, and die. That's it. What's wrong with that?
Why would this make atheists gullible or "have blind faith". Why are they better or worst that you or I or anyone else.
Being an atheist is far, far preferable than believing in an extremely violent religion that believes in murdering non-believers, infidels, and other innocent people.
If everyone were atheist then we'd have far less violence and war in the world.

I think that same person (or someone like them) also said that all atheists are liars.
EDIT:
As for TX guy, you are wrong. All you seem to be relying on is your bigotry and misinformation.
My atheism is a label that gets applied to me because I have no active belief in deities.
I do not know whether this life is all there is (for me). I do not know how many universes there are. Or whether there a different kinds of universes with different realities, different properties of time and matter.
I have no evidence for deities, so I don't believe in them. So you guys call me atheist. Do you have evidence for fairies? If not, should I call you an 'afairyist?
Now what else will you fabricate about my thoughts?

Here come the thumbs down...
Someone who claims to believe in science only, but has not done any experimentation him or herself, only read about what others have done, is showing a large deal of credulity as well.
None of us have time to examine every single thing in the world, so yes, most people do end up taking others' "word for it" on many, many subjects. We all have faith that what we believe is the right thing to believe; otherwise, we'd believe differently.

Atheists tend to rely more on science as a path to the truth. But science is not dogmatic and does not require faith. Quite the opposite, science is a method of rigorous analysis and critique where truth is provisional and survives only as long as scrupulous evidence supports it.

True... there are something that I believe on blind faith, however I know why I believe what I believe from a personal and scientific stand point. God says that ignorance is no excuse... and to have an answer for everything... if there is something I don't know I look it up... if someone asks me a question on my faith I don't want to say "just because"...I want to always have answer! : )

I'd say that theists, and Christians in particular, tend to be much more gullible at least when it comes to "faith aligned" things. When I was a growing up as a Christian, I swallowed creationist teachings hook, line and sinker, but as I started to expand my knowledge I was amazed at how much disinformation there was in those "claims". This is just one illustration of how easily theists will accept statements/claims/stories as truth just because they were told it by another believer.
This is true of conspiracy theorists as well. They tend to accept as truth what another like minded individual tells them without checking the facts.

Atheists believe what they are told, when either:
People who have consistently shown that they can back up their claims with facts say it.
When the person actually backs up their claim with facts.
There is an inherent trust of what main line scientists claim because, generally, it has been professionally published and peer reviewed first.
Theists believe what they are told if their church leader says so. Facts are irrelevant.
