Why would Jack want to put a driver who is well past his prime into a full time ride? No disrespect to Bill Elliott, but there are drivers out there that are better than he currently is.

I think Jack Roush wants someone who will race all 36 races. That's why Martin was not in the car in 2007. David Ragan has done an adequate job in the #6 for a rookie. I think he will be back in 2008. Roush will have to divest of one of his teams after the 2008 season. I think Roush will keep the #17 and the #99, but any of the other teams could be vulnerable.

For this year the Wood Brothers have hired him as a "Past Champion" provisional.This has been their ace in the hole to get into races.
Would Jack Roush do this next year?It could and it is possable but as long as his cars are in the top 35 don't look for Elliot to drive for Roush.

Well I think Jack Roush should but Bill Elliott is old its not like i have anything against Bill i just like there are better drivers the Bill i mean look at some of the Busch series drives they have a lot of talented and the cup owners don't see it but the drivers do so Bill should not drive the 6 car next year they should keep David Ragan in the car he will learn how to be a better driver
he is like JJ Yeley Yeley will learn to there are a lot of drivers like them so they will learn and Bill should not be put in the car

If I remember right 2008 or 2009 Rousch will lose 1 of his teams by the 4 car limit so I think Elliott is out of luck on this One!!!!
