Where the Bible is factually correct, it is to be taken literally. Where it is not factually correct, it is to be taken allegorically. Just BRILLIANT!!!!

In the U.S., brilliant means "very very smart". In England, brilliant means "great".

Indeed. If not the absolute top, it's one of the top 2 or 3 brilliant treatises on religion and explanations of the religious experience ever compiled.

Forgive my ignorance, but being Australian, I did not realise that brilliant means something different in the US than it does in England.

Wrong.....

You have to use basic exegesis to know when to read it as hyperbole, when to read it as metaphor.....and when to read it as literal.

Scripture as a whole is 100% reliable......unlike any other source document that exists in this world......ours was written by God
