You're bed is probably pretty comfy, huh? Well, your cat thinks so too and if you guys are close, that's another reason why he's choosing to sleep near you. I have 2 cats and they both sleep on the bed with us. I like when they want to be close to us because I like to pet and rub them.

The cat wants to smell you. They feel cozy in your bed.
The scent is strong for them. And they are content.
How would the cat react if someone wanted to sleep in your bed along side you.
do you think the cat would object?

Cats like to "den" with their owners. Kind of like in the wild, they would have a cave where they know they sleep. The bed replaces the cave with smells, comfort, warmth, etc.
