I have set up a site for donations so I can go get my surgery (investigation surgery for possible endo and then removal of any endo) which is very costly, and as much as I try I cannot afford it. My question is just to see how many people would actually donate to a cause like this? Ive seen many sites out there with people asking for donations so they can get rid of debt and some so people can just make a living of other peoples donations... all of these were very succesful.
No rude answers please, im not actually asking you to donate to me im just askinf if you would donate to a cause like this.

my other thing is, when people say they would be worried it is a scam? Scams are a lot different to that. There are people out there getting donations for breast implants!!! Its like giving money to a homeless person.. how do you know there really homeless and not just out there pan handling? Ive seen it before!!

here in South Carolina, I see people putting out jars at stores by the cash registers (with store owners permission) usually with a picture of the person and a paragraph about what the money is for. People put change in them all the time.

You can still get your surgery and get set up with payment plans at your doctors office. No need to pay up front if you don't have insurance. They will work with you.
