Yep, Atheists do exist. I worked with a Russian Man who left Russia when it was still the Soviet Union. He told me one day that he couldn't understand how Americans could believe in God. He said that he thought that a people who could put a man on the moon would be more intelligent than to believe in God. I would say he was deffiently an Atheist.

Yes. I know that it's difficult for people who believe in God to understand that it's possible to not believe that there is one And I'm not saying that to be sarcastic, I'm saying that because I used to be Christian, and couldn't understand how people could NOT believe there is a God. I always thought that they HAD to be aware deep down that there was one. Thinking that, though, was based simply on my own inability to think otherwise. I was projecting. Just as when you see believers now (even ones that claim to be "former" atheists) claim that atheists really do believe in God.
Yes, there are people who really, honestly do not believe in the existence of a God. Despite "believers" claims to the contrary, and the excuses they try to make for saying that atheists really do believe in God. (The most common being, "They want to be able to do what they want and not be held accountable", or "They're just angry at God". Those are ignorant statements that those believers like to tell each *other*, but they have no basis in fact whatsoever.)

Yes. The concept of disbelief in a deity or deities exists, and so do people who think that way (for example, myself).

Yes, it does exist. Not sure why you asked this question, though.

What an odd question. Atheism is the absense of belief in a god. Isn't it obvious that there would be people in the world who don't believe in gods?

I have never heard an atheist use that kind of logic. You're simply lying again, kid. Don't you think that the fact that you have to lie so much to defend your beliefs tells you something about the quality of those beliefs?

Look, do you believe in Zeus? Ra? Krishna? Odin?

I assume not. That's the way I feel about Yahweh.

It's perfectly simple, and the idea that it's somehow impossible is ludicrous.
