a married E1 can apply for base housing. It's entirely dependent on thew waiting list and bedroom entitlement.
This is assuming PCS orders that are Accompanied, and not Unaccompanied orders or Temporary orders such as for training.
generally speaking, schools lasting less than six months are unaccompanied. If the marine gets married AFTER arriving on station, they must get an ORDMOD changing their status so that family is authorized to join them. Note that if you have less than 12 months left, the orders will not be modified and the family will not be reimbursed for any costs associated. Base housing also has a minimum time you need housing..as little as 6 months to as many as 12 months before you can be put on the list.

There is no rank qualification. You are entitled to base housing, or BAH ( basic allowance for housing) if base housing is unavailable. I would not just show up without enough money to rent a place though. I am a SSgt and was on the waiting list for 3 months last year. I moved to Okinawa and got a house the same week I got here. Housing on Camp Lejeune is broken down into three categories: E-1 to E-5, E-6 to E-9, and officers. Officers is also broken up by rank as far as what area you will live. The cost of living at Camp Lejeune is very reasonable. The housing is also undergoing privatization, which means it is run by civilian contractors instead of government workers. This is a good thing, because they get paid "rent" which is equal to your BAH. If the house is empty, the collect no rent, and lose money. They strive to keep the houses full, and treat the residents much better, so they don't lose them to private housing. You don't have to pay the rent, it will be automatically sent. If you are moving in the summer, then the waiting list will be longer, due to more people moving.

Not unless things have changed that much the only requirement is if u-r- assigned to that duty station for some or all of ur enlistment and that there is available housing for u-n ur family other than that ur rank should have nothing to do with it but remember this seniority n people on the waiting list before u get first priority in other words u-r- last on the totem pole if u-r- just arriving at a new duty station n expect to get housing over other military personnel that have been waiting longer than u that is not going to happen so be prepared for a long wait if there is one.

It's been a while since I was there but there was no rank per se for that. If you were a corporal you could live in Midway Park, Sgts. and above were in Tarawa Terrace, and the lower ranks had to go to trailer parks at Monford Point or Camp Gieger, which I assume are no longer there. I guess this wasn't a lot of help but when I saw the question I just had to answer since I was there for a few years. Good luck!

they're issues which could in easy words be chanced on after thousands of trials. and evidently, strict decrease needs to be in position. in spite of the indisputable fact that, because the concept of technological know-how is continuously replacing through new discoveries, we favor to really have sympathy to the drug organization as well. they don't seem miracle makers, they in easy words attempt to make salary by technique of promoting something that they "imagine" would help persons. imagine the international with out antibiotics and different drugs, what number of human beings would might want to die? If we agree that technological know-how would get replaced, the drug organization would no longer have an excuse of increasing drugs expenditures because of regulation healthful.also if we seem at the different area that has used the socialist equipment it has slowed down and did not stay as a lot as its Utopian promise. No equipment is suitable yet open and loose market is the superb available.

There is not a specific rank that you have to be to get on base housing in the Marine corps. Its whether there is housing available and if there is a waiting list.
I suggest you go to or contact base housing on Lejuene and get some info to get everything started to get your family housing. There is alot of paperwork involved and getting your family registered with DEERS if you haven't done so already.
Good luck

Base housing is very structured, so it is not just rank dependent, but also dependent on availability.
I would suggest going down to base housing and getting your name on the list, while there you can get better answers to your questions.
I never used base housing while I was in because of the social stratification of the housing.

No, there is no required rank as long as his superiors feel that he's too important and needed to be there any time of the day. In short he must be reachable. Secrecy of military information is another reason.

It used to be E-4, but I've been out of service since 2000, so it might have changed.
