I love to be barefoot all year long. I only wear shoes when I leave the house and I just hate that.

For the past ten years I've spent the entire year barefoot, and I don't intend to put shoes on ever again. It's much more comfortable and, contrary to what many people especially in the US believe, it's healthy too.

Yes, Almost every summer when I was young. I grew up in East Texas on a farm. I never wore shoes unless I went to town. And only then because I had to. My feet were tough. I knew where the sticker grass patches were. I remember also dodging cactus needles in the fields. Those were the best times of my life and I didn't know it......

Many many many blissful summers. I was born in Devon on a farm and then moved to New Zealand.. I live in China now and really miss not being able to go round barefoot.

You do stay on topic, don't you?
It wouldn't bother me one bit, but I have a knack for picking up splinters, and it seems my own yard has them in abundance. My poor husband digs most of them out. I still go out barefoot, and I still pick up splinters, but I wouldn't opt for going out that way in summer all the time, no.

I would love to, but I have to work so that has never been possible since childhood.
