Prophesy and parables were not to be taken literally. Prophesy is written in a way that it needs to be interpreted. (and honestly the Bible interprets itself so there is no need to be misled if you are really seeking) If you own a concordance and do not understand a prophetic symbol, you can look that word up in other area's and will eventually find a passage elsewhere in the Bible that plainly says what a particular word is a symbol for.
Parables were written to help the people of the day to better understand a point. We can use history and an understanding of the people of that time as a guide to better understand it.
It is also important to understand that it was originally written in Hebrew or Greek and has been translated to the best of their ability by humans. Having an exhaustive concordance so you can look up a word and it's possible meanings is helpful if something seems to not make sense. In all languages, sometimes a particular word can be translated in more than one way. (IE: the word 'nuts' in the English language can be translated to mean, a food that we eat, crazy, or a part of the male anatomy) This happens with translations of the Bible and it is a good idea to be able to look it up in it's original language and decide which word would have best fit with the Bible as a whole.
The Bible was not meant to be easy. It was meant to be studied and not just read. Many of the things it contains are against certain "false Christian" religions and if those religions had plainly seen their religion was corrupt, they would have destroyed the Bible when they had full political and religious control over the majority of the world. The Bible even says about itself, (paraphrase- yes, I am feeling lazy) Search for truth as if it were buried treasure or Gold.
Edit: The ten commandments were the only thing in the Bible that says it was "written by the finger of God". If you are going to "interpret" anything.... that would not be the ones to interpret. I think those have to be dead on as they are written.

No. The only interpreter of the Bible is the Bible itself. All man have to do if He wants to know God's will for his life is to study through 2 Timothy 2:15. Putting things in order or rightly dividing the Word of Truth. There is the vertical and horizontal principle of God's dealing with mankind. We are living presently in what Paul (Romans 11:13) says "The Age of Mystery (Ephesians 3:1-11).

The Bible is about God and Jesus. However, there are historical errors and many stories in the Old Testament are fiction. The stories have been enlarged upon over thousands of years. This is the reason for inconsistencies.
It is quite evident that the Bible is open to interpretation by the many different denominations that exist.

the reason there are maximum of distinctive interpretations has no longer something to do with any variations that have made to the sacred text cloth. enable's start up with that. the only interpretations of the Bible that mankind has been given have are available in direction of the doctrines of religion, over 1500 years of religious iniquity. what's lacking from those religious interpretations is the holy spirit, the spirit of actuality, during which Jesus taught, offering us with a non secular interpretation of scripture, which he secure via conversing in parables, retaining it by way of a symbolic code, sealed until the "end of days," permitting those misguided guy-made doctrines of religion to run their direction. each and every tale in the previous testomony is composed of symbolic meaning, revealing a non secular actuality which will carry solidarity, eliminating the divisions led to in direction of the conjured doctrines of religion. exceptionally innovative in case you inquire from me. In 1975 i began out an indepth be taught of the Bible. I have not have been given any faith, and prefer to no longer call my self a christian because of the doctrines embraced via todays christianity. In 1998 i began out receiving what may be a 7-year-long revelation of the symbolic code of the Bible. I even have spent the previous 10 years compiling this revelation (1998-2005) and the revelations of my mentor (1960-1993) into 2 books for all people it somewhat is involved.

You will always get the Bible wrong if you pick a few verses and interpret them, without the knowledge of the entire Bible.
Without the Holy Spirit inside you to teach you all things, again it is useless interpretation.
God says to read the Bible, "line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little." The Bible is in history and future layers. One verse can happen in 3 different eras of history, but in similar ways. These stories can be used to make one recognize the main plot of the Bible.
From Genesis to Revelation it is all about Jesus the Christ.

it is the true word of god
and we can not change the ten commandments because they are from god.and because he is king we cannot change his words.
for you to be able to intepret the word you need to be born againg in the kingdom of god.and you need the holy spirit to direct you.
if you don't have this you won't understand because your inner man has not been activated
