My escort mk6 diesel won't start?

i have to prime the car every morning i.e. turn the key till you here a clicking noise do this about 6 times then she will start if you don't do this then she will not start but once started she will start all day long with out doing it again i.e. just start as you would any other car

The diesel has quick start glow plugs and they have a common bar power rail from the glow plug relay one of your glow plugs is leaking to earth and if you can work a decent multi meter you can find which one it is then replace it you will be surprised. ~~
