Asking for a friend:

She bidded and won a wedding gown on ebay that if anything is wrong with it she can send it back

The dress she sees now on there is "prettier" than the first one but you cannot return it at all if something is wrong or whatever.

What would you do?
(She done knows about all that contract bidding)
She is wandering would you pick one where you could send it back (in case something happens) or one that is so beautiful but you can return it?

Well, if the "prettier" gown is wrong, she could always turn around and sell it again on E-bay herself. I'd go for the prettier gown, myself.

I would say pick the one you can return if something is wrong. Who knows if the gown is as good as the picture makes it out to be or if it was enhanced with computer technology. At least this way you can send it back.

Also see if she can pay 1/2 now and half after she gets the dress, be sure it is not a scam.

Good Luck

We I was in the process of thinking of ordering my dress online I read everything. I read all the return policies that had policies on top of policies. Luckily I'm gonna stick with Davids Bridal (hope for a good transaction since all the horror stories) and pick my dress from them. She should have read everything before buying it. Is it anyway she can contact the seller and do an exchange or refund or is that out of the question now.

Just find out what it will cost you to get out of the first part before you work on part two .
Now how are you going to insist that they take it back.
Sounds like the first agreement could be a grab bag.
We bid on records and the owner ran out so he made us another deal on a bundle. We paid and he sent 6 boxes of records that we intended to use for our juke box and they were covered in dirt. I had to wash and shine every record. We tried them A few were okay but most of the titles were not what we had agreed to .We boxed them back up and I wrote a letter about the dirt and also wished him luck on his resale.A week later we see our mailman trudging up the stairs agian with all these boxes. So the guy used us mail so the mail man could leave that delivery.
try to return promptly... best wishes...watch out there are bad guys lerking out there
