I have a new lover and we've been together sexually 3 times. I am 40 and he is 52. I noticed the first time we just fooled around and he did not have an erection. I asked him about it and he told me something I can't remeber. Then the first time we went all the way with sex and oral and every thing... I noticed his erection was up then down... then he never had a orgrasim. The second time he did... but the erection was up and down. Then the 3rd time... nothing. I'm starting to think it's me and he's not really turned on and I did ask him but he said it's not me. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I think some men of this age group have a bit of a problem with keeping an erection. I have had a similar situation but the relationship is a good one and we don't put too much focus on that part of it.

I think alcohol has a lot to do with it. If you've been out for a drink and then go do it, it has a negative effect on them physically. Try perhaps a different time of day (before alcohol is consumed) (thats assuming it is) Don't take it personal and anyway if he's good at the other stuff then I think things will improve as he becomes more comfortable and relaxed with you. Its early days yet.

you have some wild romantic suggestions. i won't be in a position to tell you the way a guy could react, as i'm no longer gay, yet i will inform you, if I had a woman try this to me, i could have a very good charm for her, yet on an identical time. It style of seems stalker-ish. yet, it does not incredibly artwork out in the event that they do unlike you. yet once you think of he does, supply it a try. i don't understand concerning the music selection, yet then back i've got not got the main suitable musical style.

Several people have jumped to the conclusion, "It's not you." They're trying not to hurt your feelings.

It MIGHT be you, it MIGHT not be you. We don't have enough information to make that call.

ED is common for a man that age. You are doing the right thing talking about it. Continue to be intimate...romance isn't all about the erection. If you are both satisfied after a session (which you will know by talking about it), then it doesn't matter whether he was up or down.

kinda obvious.. hes 52 and partially impotent. Meaning hes still capable of getting an erection but it doesnt last long enough for him to achieve an orgasim. he needs to see a male doc. Probably will be ok with viagra.

He's 52 -- things don't always work as well by the time a guy gets to that age.

Have him schedule an appointment with his doctor for a complete checkup. The doctor can prescribe a pill to help things!

Sounds like a physical problem.. Wait until he is asleep and then try and turn him on. If it works then the problem is psychological if it does not it is physical. Try and be understanding but he needs to see his doctor if it is physical and a lot of ment would find it very emabarrassing.

No, it's not you at all.
He may have a problem.
He needs to speak with his Dr. on this concern, and there are medications to help him.
It will get better once it is diagnosed.
