Sweetie, they will find an excuse for everything because they worship the bible whether they realize it or not. I heard a lady say one time, "If the KJV was good enough for Jesus, then it is good enough for me!". That just kind of sums it up.

John 1:42 doesn't say anything about the Jordan River.
In Matthew 4:18-22, Jesus sees Simon Peter and his brother Andrew. Does the text say that this was the first time he met Peter and Andrew?
I appreciate the question. Keep studying.

In John 1:35ff, John the Baptist was with his disciples. He tells them that Jesus is the "Lamb of God" (v. 36) and they stay with Jesus a while (v. 37). In John 1:40-42, Andrew goes and gets Simon-Peter and they follow Jesus. Why? Because Andrew had spent time with Jesus and told Simon that Jesus was the Messiah (v. 41). Later, in Matt. 4:18, Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee and he sees Simon-Peter and Andrew as they were fishing. He had not asked them to follow Him until this point in verse 4:19. They do (4:20). Source: Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (http://www.carm.org/diff/Matt4_18.htm.)

Also Andrew was first a disciple of john the baptizer. (john 1:35, 40) In the fall of 29 ce he was at Bethany on the East side of the jordan River and heard the john the baptizer introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of god." He along with another discple, was soon convinced he had found the Messiah. He then found and informed his boether Simon and led him to Jesus. ( john 1: 36-41) The two brother returned to thier fishing business, but between six months and a year later, after the arrest of John the Baptizer, they, along with James and John were invited by Jesus to become "fishers of men" They immediately abadoned their nets and began accompanying Jesus.

By the sea of Galilee. When Christ our Lord to Andrew cried come down and follow me.
The fisherman left his net beside the sea of Galilee, and it was the same with the rest of them. Good question have a star.

No, you need to remember the Gospels were written points of view. You act as if this were some kind of law. But, yes, you probably still could use the Holy Spirit.
"It was greenish blue"
"It was blueish gray"

No not necessarily the Spirit! Sometimes an open mind, a sincere heart and a humble attitude work just as well.
I do appreciate your intense study of the word, however - keep it up!

Does it really matter where He met Him?
It doesn't change the message of the cross.
It's a minute thing........it's not like one verse says to follow Thor and the other Christ
