I would send a letter to the credit reporting agencies
requesting an investigation or call the creditor that is listed
with your daughters name on it. And yes I would definitely
run your daughters report. Sound likes your ex-wife is up
to something illegal !!!!! And if you find out she used your
daughters name for any credit, you can use that against
her and get custody. She is jeopardizing her daughter's
future

Do you have legal custody of the children? If not, you do not have the right to pull their credit reports.

You also do not have the right to pull your wife's report. While I certainly understand your concern with this, you are going to find yourself in serious trouble if you continue to access other people's credit reports without authorization.

If you have any custody rights at all for the kids, then I would immediately pull their reports. If they are listed on your wife's then they certainly have a history file with the credit bureau...and there could be fraud involved. You should clean their records, but it could end up landing your ex into some serious hot water.

Of course, you have uncovered a potential problem for your daughter, but you may have also created a problem for yourself. Did you obtain written signed permission from your ex-wife to pull her credit report ? If not, I suggest you knock off your nosiness before you find yourself in a huge pile of trouble.

You have violated the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act by procuring your ex-wife's credit report without prior authorization.

This is a pretty serious situation and you need to talk to your lawyer. If your ex is ruining your daughter's credit you need to take action now. It's fraud and your daughter is a victim of identity theft.

Sound like your daughter's identity was stolen. it can ruin her credit, and shes only ten! You should definetly be concerened, but if you're ex wife did it then she could go to jail so think about this carefully!
