Family wise are they related, and do they usually grow in the same places.

Clover (Trifolium) is part of the Fabaceae family, Oak (Quercus) is from the the family Fagaceae, so I don't think you are correct in saying that they are related.

Normally clover grows on pasture and oak tress, well, grow in woodland. I'm sure that there are no natural relationships, symbiotic or otherwise, between these two plants.

Interesting question - they are not at all closely related (although they're both plants, of course), and aren't seen together very often, as they tend to prefer quite different types of habitat as a rule. Given that, I'm curious why you would ask the question. Did you notice something that made you wonder about it, or did something somebody said make you think they might be? Whatever the reason, here's a high five for asking - keep it up!
