I am sorry to burst your bubble, but if you have to ask this, then you are not very knowledgeable of the bible and are not a very good example for Christ.
What part of be in the world but not of the world do you not understand?

There are plenty of scripture available to indicate that both profanity and drunkenness are sins to be repented of.
As to smoking - it's just a really bad unhealthy habit, not so much a sin until you start thinking about your body as the temple of God and how you are destroying it.
Ask you doctor about this new miracle drug called "Chantix" - how I quit smoking two pack a day habit over 20 years.

If you are a christian, the Bible is very clear about habits that are not good for us. Anything profane that comes out of your mouth is certainly not God's, then it must belong to the Devil, then it is sin.
Don't forget that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit does not dwell with anything dirty. Smoking and drinking do damage your health, so they cannot be good for you hence they are not Godly. As for anything that proceeds out of your mouth it is either holy or unholy
The term legalism is used by satan to make sure that we are totally blind with his evil deception.

Not technically. Over doing them is a sin. Taking the Lord's name in vain is a sin. But regular cursing and moderate smoking are fine. Have at it!!

Jesus' first miracle is reported to be changing water into wine. Tobacco hadn't been discovered in the middle east and when he was on the cross, he cried out 'My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?'
Draw your own conclusions. There are more important 'sins' which Christians commit without giving them a thought:
Prejudice, intolerance, waging war, inequality, discrimination; just to mention a few.

I thought that Christians could do whatever they wanted to do as long as they believe in god their sins are forgiven.
That's what I never understood about Christians. Some pasture guy told me that you could kill someone and as long as you go to church god would forgive you.
I don't get it.
