she either doesn't believe you because of the way you said it, or doesn't believe that you chose that moment to complement her,
or she doesn't believe it because you complemented the wrong thing. (for example saying she have lovely hair, when she knows its greasy and you have definately seen it looking better),
or that she has low self esteem and doesn't feel worthy of compliments.
Or like me; she may not know how to take a compliment. I mean seriously what are you supposed to say!?!

she thinks that you don't really mean it, but she still wants to believe that you just might believe that it is true. Look her in the eyes and make your compliment sincere.

if you have complimented her a lot, she just doesn't care to hear it from you....... because she isn't interested in you. .........when you compliment someone who may be interested, her reaction would be much different.
so the girl who rolled her eyes, is probably stuck up and couldn't care less hearing it from you. sorry......

Well, SR, it could mean many things. It may have been the first compliment she ever received, and resulted in her having a seizure lol ;)

she either: a) is so arrogant she hears this 60 times a day and is sort of tired of it
b) doesn't think it was a compliment (i.e. saying someone has big boobs or nice boobs. guy thinks it's a compliment, girl goes, geeze does he not have any manners!
c) she doesn't believe it about herself so can't accept it (low self-esteem)
d) thinks you are just trying to suck up to her to get something

She's used to guys like you and has had a bad experience with guys TRYING to run there game so he's used the the run around.
She thinks your just bull shiting her.. So you have to say something or do something to stand out from all the others guys that have told her the same thing.

It means she heard it before and from personal experience, she can tell you either don't mean it (i.e. you're saying that just to be nice) or that you want something else in return (i.e. sex)...
The next guy always pays for the mistakes the first ones did...

It means she's stuck up and you're not telling her anything she doesn't already think herself. She likely thinks you're a creep and wishes you'd just disappear and make room for a guy she thinks is really hot.
