Get your vet to check him over he could have fleas in which case your vet will give you some frontline flea treatment or he could have a skin allergy your vet can also prescribe you with some anti-histamine tablets to stop the itching.

A quick and harmless why to get the fleas off is to make your dog a be of either cedar shavings, or eucalyptus leaves. The problem then becomes one of getting the fleas that come off disposed of.

I raised English Bull dogs for years and had a litter that became infested. Bull Dogs a fragile when they are pups and didn't want to use nay harsh chemicals on them. The change in bedding did the job. To capture the fleas that jumped off, I set a pie plate with an inch or so of water and a little dish soap in it on the floor near the birthing box. I placed a light over the pan a few inches from the surface. The fleas are attracted to heat and light. They jump towards the light, fall in the water and because the dish soap breaks the surface tension of the water, drown in short order.

Take your dog to the VET for christ's sake, and get those sores treated. The vet can give the dog an injection which will kill all the fleas within 30 minutes... after the sores heal, you can then begin an anti-flea regimen such as Revolution every month... sparing your dog much misery... and saving him from tapeworms too. Everytime he ingests a flea, he's getting tapeworms too. Better get him treated for tapeworms while you're at the Vet's office.
God, is there anything else you're NOT doing to be a good pet owner????? Such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, etc? I can't believe how stupid some people are when it comes to their pets.
And don't tell me you can't afford it. You have a computer, so you can afford to get your dog treated.

Yes of course give him flea treatment if he has fleas!

Go to a vet to get some proper stuff. If he's got scabs, he's allergic to fleas so you need to get rid of ALL fleas, or the scabs will never be sorted. Get some Frontline Plus for your dog, and some proper spray for your house - this will definitely need to be treated too. I also recommend putting him on Program tablets, which sterilise fleas - you need to attack the problem from all angles. Please go to a vets. They can also give a steroid shot to help with the immediate problem.

First off, if you dont know how to care for an animal, you shouldn't own one... but since you're smart enough to ask, why dont you go to walmart, target, a drug store or the vet and ask for flea treatment, it doesn't work overnight but it will help. since you let it go so far as to hurt your animal, you should take it to the vet and have him treated, then find a new owner because your obviously not suitable to own a pet.

hi, i always use frontline this works well for me. But if you pomeranian has scores i would get him/her checked at your vets, because it could be a skin allergy or mites etc, better to be safe than sorry. If it is one of these putting a flle treatment may make it very painful for your dog, and you dont want that. You could just visit your vets, most of the receptionist no whats what. Good luck, hope her is ok soon.

Take him to the vet!! Get some Capstar and Frontline from the vet and treat the poor dog! This can be considered animal abuse if you are not willing to treat him, What is wrong with you??!!

yes, i would go ahead and give him a flea treatment, then i would give him like an oatmeal bath for the sores... you can also bath your dog in dawn dishwashing liquid in between treatments and it will also kill the fleas.... don't worry, it's safe!!
