because i watched a move that like promoted vilionce and death..my friends mom is like..relly religious she told me that...she also told my mom b/c she smoked weed....that its a horrible sin..i see nothing in the bible saying thall shall not smoke weed???for being somone who follows God...she sure is mean..and also sinse iv masterbated before...im going to hell also...and the only way i can get out of it is to say im sorry..im not sorry for it...theres nothing to be sorry for...i just dont get it

Get used to it. You are only 16. I am 55 and no matter what you do someone is always going to tell you that you are going to hell. I was a very faithful Christian in the church of Christ and was told by Baptist and Pentecostals that I was going to hell simply because I did not believe their way.

Take heart not all Christians are mean, but enough of them are to make life difficult around them unless you become mean like me and point out all their sin when they try and point out mine.

Believe it or not there are some very fine Christians who mind their own business and are not judgmental.

All religions for some reason have a tendency to attract the rude and judgmental. Yes I have seen this type attitude even in paganism, not as much but it is still there. Religion will either bring out the best in people or the worst.

I gotta tell ya.... Our god, no matter what form it takes or what it is or isn't.... Is a benevolent god... A beautiful god... An omnipresent energy that really doesn't mind if you jerk off or if you smoke pot or if you do any other number of things that make you happy.

Good for you. I mean that. Go after what you feel is right, as long as you hurt no one.

Look at the bible. Her god likes wine, but we see how much harm alcohol does... and alcohol must be processed by man, marijuana grows from seeds straight outta god's green earth.

Before I begin, you need to consider what religion you follow and consider the principles of that individual faith. Although, what I'm about to say I think should be universal.
Don't worry about what she said. I get so digusted by people like that. They do more harm then good when they start bible-thumping. Unless you acted in a negative way after watching the movie I would worry about (besides how can you watch television nowadays without some violence?). I think the weed thing is more about God expecting us to make our bodies a temple for Christ (in that we respect it and not put abusive things into it). As for the masturbation, do you feel guilty after you do it? That should answer your question for you.
Anyway, don't let the advice of one person get you down. She should not be judging you untill she perfects her own life.

You have been hit with a judgment bomb. Sorry. I feel sorry for your friend. Your friend has to live with this. My mom was the same way. All I ever heard was how wrong and sinful my friends were. If it's that bad, see your friend away from their house. Personally, I wouldn't go back there. Funny how a loving god makes people so pinched faced and mean, isn't it? That girl sure is judgmental. WE cannot go to heaven by good works or hell by bad deeds. We go to heaven by accepting God and repent. It's our free will, God has already forgiven all of our sins and yet we still sin. Saying sorry is one thing but the only way to got to heaven is to accept the Lord or else, we are going to hell.

devil and God are easily no longer the comparable. devil needs you to do very very undesirable stuff, you will no longer visit hell theres no such factor in basic terms a black hollow which you visit in case you do no longer ask God for forgiveness, there is in basic terms 3 undesirable sins that are rather stressful to be for forgiven for like having intercourse in the previous your married and committing a homicide or defying the holy ghost. back say sorry and quickly each first sunday in case you do no longer understand what fasting is its the place you do no longer consume or drink something breakfast or lunch in basic terms dinner jesus he fasted for 40 days for us, so yeah wish this helped you
