If you're interested in becoming Catholic make an appointment to talk to a priest at a local Catholic Church. They will set you up with a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or RCIA. It's a class that meets from now until people who are in it are baptized and/or confirmed at the Easter Vigil next Spring. Best Wishes!

Yes I am a Catholic because I believe in the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles and their successors in the bible. I also believe in the definitions of these teachings by the Ecumenical Councils, and the guidance of the Church fathers, and the Magistrum.

a) yes

b) by the sacrament of baptism.

Did you mean "how ?" in terms of...how should we live as catholics ?

Put it this way there are many good people in this world. You do not have to be religious to be good by nature!

However, only holy people get to enjoy the beatific vision
is why there is a state of purgation and expiation for purification prior to entrance so to speak.

Basically,we should live saintly, and virtuous lives as taught by Holy Mother Church. At the end of our lives we hope to obtain the promises of Christ, as time for meritting is over.

It is not enough to attend mass, pray, study scripture & catechism, live an honest life, practise patience through trial, tribulation and calamity;Nor,is it enough to fast and do pennance on awakening upon sleeping....
One must giveup himself completely!

This is why so many of her children leave the Church !But, those who persevere to the end will be saved...true,untainted catholicism is not for the half-hearted.

God bless,

JMJ

1) by accepting Christ as my Saviour
2) by following the biblical understsandings of the Catholic church founded and based upon Jesus Christ, my risen Lord & Saviour.

the same way those who are methodist (which can be broken to synod, AME, CME, etc), episcopalian, baptist (would could then be broken to First Baptist, shiloh, etc).

I was born Catholic, I was baptised, had my first Holy Communion, went to a Convent... Got abused by nuns...Grew up, married a Catholic, was married by a family friend of my husband's who was a priest, found out he was a pedophile and abused children.. he is in jail and now we've had quite enough of the catholic church, I doubt that I would ever go back ....
