I'm a Christian and unfortunately, all of my friends and family are not. Almost all of them don't believe in any religion. However, they are wonderful people and helped me a lot when other Christians hurt me so bad.

Yes, none of my family are Christians (though they wouldn't describe themelves as atheists) and I have quite a few close friends who are atheists. They're always good for some interesting discussions =]
But they respect my beliefs and don't buy into the "You believe in God..you must be SO stupid" idea.
God bless

I'm an atheist with Christian friends. :)

Some of them, though as a science student, rates of atheism are pretty high.

This atheist has many close Christian friends.

What we have in common- humanism, interest in science, arts and food far exceeds our one difference over belief.

Lots of Agnostics, and a few of my Scuba buddies are Atheists. None that I am extremely close to... my closest friends are at my church.
