The salad I make uses seafood extender, which I am pretty sure is the same.
1 packet pasta (spirals bow ties etc)
1 kg seafood
2 Bottles thousand Island dressing.(may not need this much do it to your own tastes)

Cook the pasta. While still warm add the other ingredients. Serve warm or cold.
You could also add cooked prawns for a difference.

My whole family loves this and its requested at every party.

Presume you mean crabsticks - finely chop the following (I mean tiny pieces) crab / onion + fresh parsley - mix with mayo and season.
prepare a lettuce - roll up leaves together and slice into thin strips (this must be done just before you serve) in a bowl place lettuce and fresh chopped dill - little balsamic vinegar /olive oil/salt mix well and place on a large plate on top add the crab/mayo mix - yum!

I usually buy a bulk bag of the flakes when it is
on sale, you just have to undo the pieces as they are already cut up.

mix the flakes with finely chopped celery, dill, mayo, and chopped green onion or chives. The
dill really seems to make it great. You can add peppers for color and crunch.
