If you are a regular member of a church and the pastor will not talk to you about such things, he is not serving one of his functions and you should find another church.

I have been in a lot of churches in my life, and I have never found a pastor that wouldn't help.

Now having the time, that may require a appointment, so call ahead and get a time to drop by so you can chat and visit together without having the clock to fight too.

Most pastor have open door policies. Do make an appointment and go and see your pastor. He will listen and the advice that they give you, is not always what you want to hear, but the truth.

Absolutely, that is part of his job. U may need to make an appointment to set up a time for ur discussion as the pastor may have other commitments as he will need alloted time for u to discuss ur problems and to advise u accordingly. Call soon and get the ball rolling.

Where I attend, our minister is always willing to talk with others whether they are members of the church or not. Our doors are always open to anyone who has questions or needs help of any kind.

You can always call and see if you can set something up with someone close to where you live and even if it isn't a minister, many elders are willing to help if they can.

From what I got from the churches I have been in ( which have been many) , they always want to make people feel that they are approachable.

I'd say, " Go for it".
