in the dream, i was the only girl. there were 4 or 5 boys. i ran really fast. i never ran that fast before. sometimes i was the 1st, sometimes the 2nd. i kept trying to beat the boys. but before i woke up, i remember getting 3rd place. there was 2 boys in front of me who i cant seem to take over.

Well sounds like you are trying to beat or win against someone or some people in an area of life. The fact that they are boys means something. It could be you feel like, as a woman, men treat you or women in general as subpar and you have it in you to prove them otherwise, in any area of life--but for some reason no matter how hard you try you end up second. Ask yourself sometimes do you try to hard to prove something, maybe in the area of gender, when you really don't have to, and by doing so you actually end up on the short end of the stick.

The one thing that stands out is that you are in a sprint race. That requires expending a lot of energy in a short period of time. You can see yourself winning and its bothering you why you end up second. You are frustrated, because you do not fear competition, but your trying to figure out how to overcome this result. The race can be thought of as an analogy for competition among you and your friends or peers.

Your caught up in the rat race of life. You make a few accomplishments here and their, but you might be overtrying or not trying hard enough. Maybe you expect more from yourself and are not living up to it.

you are competing for something you are doing very well you want to be the best but there are just one or two people slightly better than you.but you are running faster than ever before you arevery good and getting better.So keep trying to be the best.
