Christ is the difference. Through Him we get eternal salvation. No other religion offers Jesus. All others, including Judaism and Islam, offer salvation through your faith, deeds and a number of rituals and prayers. Essentially they all require you to be perfect in the eyes of the Lord, a standard that is impossible to attain for any mortal man. You can see throughout history, all men of greatness had fallen short in that standard, including David, Abraham and Moses.
Only in Christianity Jesus offers to save us through Him. He paid the price for our sins by enduring, pain, suffering and death. As long as we repent and accept Him as our savior, we will be saved. Jesus wants us to come to Him AS WE ARE. No other religion will offer that.

Christianity comes from the Bible, which was inspired by God, so it is the truth. Other religions (with the exception of biblical Judaism, which is true but incomplete) are all man-made. The most important things that make Christianity different are these: 1. Jesus, the Founder, rose from the dead. All other religions were founded by people who died and stayed dead.
2. Christianity is the only religion that teaches we are saved by grace and not by works. All other religions teach that you have to earn your salvation. Christianity makes it plain that you CANNOT earn your salvation. Our salvation is a free gift, thanks to the perfect life and sacrificial death of Jesus.
3. Christianity accurately describes the true God, though the description is of necessity incomplete, and we will only fully know Him when we go to heaven.
4. Christianity is the only religion that promises that we will spend eternal life in joy with God. Other religions either don't address what happens after death, or give very unsatisfactory answers.
5. Because of the above, a person who is a Christian can experience perfect peace and joy. It doesn't mean we don't ask questions. God gave us our brains because He expects us to use them, and Jesus was encouraging to people who believe and still have doubts. We won't have perfect faith in this life.
6. Christianity is the only faith founded on facts. The Bible makes a number of historic statements which are borne out by historical and archaeological research. It also makes statements about how the earth was created, and these better fit the evidence than the theory of evolution. Many religions have a form of the theory of evolution. And by the way, the theory of evolution is a religion, not a scientific idea. The Bible also contains prophecies about Jesus, each of which He perfectly fulfilled. These things are a matter of historical record, and of all the documents of the time (prior to the printing press), the Bible has the best evidence for authenticity from the point of view of the literary historian. Most religious texts don't make historic claims at all, and if they do, these are often easily demonstrated to be bogus.
7. The result is that the amount of faith required to be a Christian is less than that of any other religion, and even of atheism. However, faith is a gift of God, and not something we can do ourselves. Thus, Christianity is both the easiest to believe, and the most difficult.
8. A personal relationship with Jesus, and thus with God.
We human beings like to come up with our own answers. That's why there are so many religions. But only Christianity is true and complete.

The aspects which place Christianity apart from "religion" is the fact that we have the promise of eternal life whilst we are still here on earth and we KNOW what our future holds. No "religion" can give this guarantee! Ephesians 4:30, 1 John 5:13, John 6:47, John 3:18, John 3:36, and many more.

Like many existing religion of the world, Christianity is not an organized religion built by Jesus. Chritianity exist because rome made it. Certainly, if you read the bible, the christian word was mentioned twice only and the word "believer" or "Saints" was mentioned more than 100 times. Christian does not exist but believers does exist.
Belief in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is the main focal point of Christian Belief, His "Sonship" and salvation thru Christ.
No other religion offers Jesus as an incarnate God All others, including the two major religious groups Judaism and Islam view him as prophets and son of Joseph and Mary.
Only in Christianity Jesus offers to save us through Him. He paid the price for our sins by enduring, pain, suffering, humuliation and death. He became bridge between man and God. in order for man to be reconciled with God.
Good works and ritual of any kind of religion will not save anyone, no matter how pleasing this things to man.

Unlike all other religions, Christianity alone possesses a founder who transcends death and who promises that His followers will do the same. All other (false) religions were founded by men and prophets whose end was the grave. As Christians, we take comfort in the fact that our God became man, died for our sins, was killed, and was resurrected the third day. The grave could not hold Him. He lives and He sits today at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. The living church has a living Head.

Not just God in theory, but God as our reality and our content. God as our spiritual food and nourishment. God indwelling us and within us carrying out His own work in grace. We are offered God as our Eternal Life. He is also our day by day life supply. Christ, as the Last Adam we see in 1 Corinthians 15:45b' became a life Giving Spirit" He came that we might have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10)
So many other religious groups offer us things to " do" and " be" in order to please some god. So much is on the part of man to make efforts in ordinances and regulations and legalities yet at the end there is not the presence and peace and sweetness of the Lord. I say this from coming from a hindu background. Also from having Muslim family and many Sikk friends. Being exposed to quite a few strong relgious groups have shown me something so precious about the Lord Jesus...He did not just say that He loved us, He paid the highest price to not only redeem us from satan and free us from sin and the power of the flesh, but today He is living in us to carry out everything that He requires of us as His believers. He is the all sufficient grace and the means and supply day by day in us.
I just love the Lord as a Person, not as a religion. Religion never truly met the deep need in a man and woman.
Great Q brother:)

There is no other "religion" that has been "devised" which has a LIVING GOD, Who came to earth in the person of His Son, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who died for our sins and arose from the dead and now sits at His Father's right hand. And Jesus gave what He promised, THE HOLY SPIRIT, Who is His agent on the earth, to not only draw us to Himself and impart knowledge of Himself and how we should live, but He brings us into RELATIONSHIP with God, our Father. This is the core of our beliefs as Christians. We become family because of what Jesus accomplished when He died on the cross, arose from the dead, and ascended to the Father. We can have relationship and friendship, with the LIVING GOD, THE ALMIGHTY ONE, THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.

Okay, I see that you got the 'truth' answer already. But there is something else, well, a few things.
Peace with God, not with 'self' as a focus, but with God as a focus. And the Holy Spirit, which only comes to those who have peace with God. The Holy Spirit does not make us run around like chickens, but gives us wisdom and comfort. He teaches us things. And those happen to be the things that Jesus tells us about before He ascended.
If you want to read this, then read it. Otherwise, it's only going to tell you what I just told you:
26"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. 27And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning. ( John 15 )
7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10 in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. ( John 16 )
This really happens to those who trust God.

To me, religion is a "formality" of whatever we believe in. Christianity is the belief of/in the Lord & I don't consider it a religion. Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ & his teachings is Christianity which is not the formality of religion.
