This question needs to be split into TWO questions and the answer relates ONLY to the weight of the water.
The weight of the container needs to be added (1 kg for the one I use):
How much does a 5 US gallon bottle of water weigh? = 18.93 Kg
18.93 kg = 41 lb 11.736 oz
How much does a 5 UK gallon bottle of water weigh? – 22.73 kg
22.73 kg = 50lb 1.7772 oz
My 5 US Gallon blue container with tap weighs 19.9 kg when full, and 0.9 kg when empty.

if the gallon measure is imperial (British) then a pint of water weighs a pound and a quarter so a gallon of water weighs 10 lbs therefore 5 gallons of water will weigh 50 lbs

I was the shorter, plumper girl. I'd been about 190, 200, most of my adult life. And I met my goal, ten weeks ahead of schedule. And feeling empowered, I decided to drop even lower. I never imagined that I would be 125 pounds, and go from a size 18 to a size 2.

Help your self with online conversion websites on the net, one that I use is:
http://www.ask.com/web?o=0&qsrc=6&q=Conversion+Table
Any way, 5 gallons= 640 ounces or 5120 Fluid Grams or 18.927 liters
But at the same time, since different fluids weigh differently better use a home made recipe, which is your own weighing machine that you use at home.
