You will find more about yourself, the world and God by reading the Bible and praying than asking for the limited views of every single person.

Tell me what you think...

Why aren't people turning to Jesus? Because he does not exist, he is a story in a book that spawns nothing but lies.

If someone is so shallow as to turn to a mythical character for assistance rather than pulling their sh*t together and getting a grip, they would be better spending some time in a psyc ward on heavy drugs that would certainly fix them.

In the real world you would find more about yourself if you went out and did things rather than relying on a book to tell you some crap that is possible way off base.

Firstly because not everybody here is christian.
I guess that the people here who are not christian like to discuss things wish speak to them spiritually in a non judgmental manner. I have even noticed that some of the christians here can do this too. After all exchanging views can be a be a way of validating what we ourselves feel. What annoys me is the constant bickering between those who think Christianity is a load of S*** and Christians being bombastic that they are completely right and everyone else is wrong and is going to burn in hell etc etc etc. Both points of view are just rehashed again and again and again and actually hinder serious spiritual discussions. As for being untruthful... whose version of the truth are you talking about? Religion is about belief not truth, otherwise it would be called science.

Hello Tim,

Unfortunately at Yahoo Ans you will find a great many immature and uncalled for answers and questions. This is the same for virtually all Q&A sites. However people do have a right to express their opinions provided it is done diplomatically and without malice.

Although I agree that to find out more about the Christian religion, what it stands for and means, the Bible is certainly the best place to start, we must remember that there are 1000s of religions in this world and not all agree with the teachings of the traditional Christan Bible.

Most religions believe in the existence of God but worship him/her/it in many differing ways.

A true believer, whether their faith be Christian, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc will accept and respect another persons belief but does have the right to teach us the way their religion sees God and the way they worship their God, provided this is done diplomatically and with thought.

These opinions can be given without the need to decry other peoples beliefs and state that because another does not worship their God in the same way as the person expressing that opinion, they are totally evil and doomed to hell.

Neither do I place any credence on a religion which believes that religion teaches that anyone not holding the same belief does not have the right to exist.

God, whoever he/she/it may be, or however he/she/it is worshiped teaches that we should respect, love and understand our fellow man and as far as I am aware does not advocate violence to force others to accept him or change the way they worship their God.

There is far too much emphasis on how our varying religions worship God and there is a great deal of violence in this world performed under the guise of religion.

Would it not be far better for those advocating violence to simply accept that man worships God in different ways and devote their time and energy to helping their fellow man rather than decrying others who may not worship their God in the same way.

I feel sure it would be a giant step toward peace in this world.

Another thing, if a person lives their life helping, caring for and loving their fellow man, but never reads a religious text of any kind, does that mean that person is condemned to hell because they have not adopted a religion as a banner for all the help they give?

Even out and out Atheists have cried out to 'God' for help in times of dire need or stress.

Finally, if anyone reading this answer would like to listen, rather than read the Christian Bible, they can do so by going to:

Everybody has to start somewhere.
Evangelical researchers say that a person who gives their life to Christ has had the Gospel told to them seven times.
They get the lies 24/7. Perhaps reading the truth on this site constitutes on of those seven times.
The Truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus has power.
The lies of this world are impotent in comparison.
Praise Jesus! Amen!

People want answers and not everyone is willing to go to the bible and feels better to ask others. Sure the bible is the best source for answers and we should be reading it and studying it

Some people don't believe in Jesus and have questions. Some people just want to know other christian's opinions.
And others just want to insult christians because they have nothing better to do.

I agree with the comment about me. This is awesome.

Because this site offers REAL answers, it's text that you can see. Turning to god only offers (in most cases) a relative feeling, and even then you must turn back to yourself to determine whether or not you believe what you're hearing.

1. why are you here?
2. i can find no truth about me in the bible
3. to know yourself is to know how others habits come and go, so to use this site is a form of self searching and a way to get answeres on other things.

If I were an Atheist troll trying to trick Christians into not posting on this forum, I would have thought that this was an ingenious way of fooling them into leaving.

Some of us are here for other reasons:
