He got a dui when I was riding with him.

I was drunk and honestly don't remember the details of
him being stopped.

He wants me to talk to his lawyer but what can I say, I
HONESTLY don't remember!

Then say you don't remember. If you testify under oath, you will be committing perjury. You might read the police report and see if it refreshes your memory. That is legal to do. But if no actual memory, then let it go.

Always tell the truth. His lawyer does not want you to lie either. If you get caught it will reflect on his or her client.

Unless your name is Scooter Libby, you will go to jail for perjury.
Be honest, saves alot of hassle.
