I have no problem with Freemasonry, or with any of the other lodges and fraternal organizations out there. They contribute a great deal of money to charity, and give their time to causes that better their communities.

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest fraternity around; they study morality through ritual, symbol and allegory and provide over $2 billion per year in charity.
Many of their ideals were used in framing the US Constitution, freedom of speech/worship, etc.
To some other responses:
* what scandals?
* it is not satanic.
* they don't control the stock markets nor are the involved in any other "new world order" or "conspiracy theory"
* it is not a religious organization, it is not a lie of satan (the real lie of satan is what the bible thumpers scream - hatred, fear, lies and ignorance.... jesus never taught any of those).

I don't quite understand it no matter how much I've read. It seems a bit pointless to me. All men on my father's side were Freemasons and the women were Order of the Eastern Star. I never felt it was weird, just outdated.

Many of their ideas helped to frame some of the concepts in the US Constitution. Masons believed in the concept of equal rights and that money shouldnt equal a persons worth. I think they had some noble ideas but that they had a couple scandals that destroyed their image.

Just another lie of Satan. What else would it be? There is only one God and one Truth. Not another god and another truth.
If anyone does not know what Masonry teaches, it is antichrist to the max! When one reaches the highest degrees of Masonry, they find that the god of the Masons is the devil (Lucifer, the light-bearer). They also believe that good works will give them entrance to gods kingdom they call the heavenly lodge. Masonry is a cult!
