Christians are not supposed to plan or prepare. God will provide (“Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or that ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on... Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, not gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feedth them. Are ye not much better than they?” --Matthew 6:25-34 & Luke 12:22-31 inclusive). I see Christian conservatives plot on a daily basis how to screw their employees so they can reap more profits.

Let me pick and choose out of the news papers and I am sure I can paint things to fit my question. You have done the same.

Lets place some focus on this:

Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal."

This sets the reference to Matthew 6:25-34

In other words, do your best. If you plant grain to grow, you can only do so much and worrying will not help you one bit.

The you reference
The Parable of the Rich Fool - Luke 12:13-21
Without giving the whole picture and frame of reference to Luke 12:22-31

The bottom line is don't waste all your time on all that is earthly. Hording doesn't bless anyone other than the person hording (and that can be argued)

I'm stopping here since I really don't expect this to change your mind. But I will close in this: If you spend so much time reading the bible trying to refute it, why not spend the time to read it correctly AND IN CONTEXT.

Afraid you might become one of us? :)
Worse things have happened ;)

And sense you are without sin and can stand perfectly before God yourself, cast the first stone.
I'm sorry people have been a bad witness to you but surely you are smart enough to know that everyone who claims to be a Christian isn't.
Main thing is God is totally perfect, flawless, holy, Sovereign forever and ever, no matter what mistakes people make.

Getting profits is business world, the fact if christians does not get profit, all christians in this world will die due to lack of money.

That's why some christians that make those profits gives offering to God, and make generous donation, easy examples Dwayne Wade the basketball player and Bill Gate riches dude on the planet.

You spew out scripture in the wrong context. The bible and the teachings of Christ in the New Testament speak in parables. Your trying to apply an age old way of speaking and thinking to fit your agenda....or in other words....make your self the teacher. Your not a gifted thinker....your just a person that lacks vision and faith. You need to work a little harder on your synopsis. You read well, you just don't comprehend well.

I feel like you had a bad experience with one christian out of millions and you are taking it out on all of us.

Let's say you are a man, or black. I could say "all men are stupid because i saw these 5 men do this". Or I could say "I was screwed over by 2 by black people".

Youre just feeding into stereotypes that society has developed over the years.

Thanks for the 2 points!

One of the gifts that God gave me to provide for me was my brain. I use it to make sound judgments about how to spend the money from the job that he has also provided for me. He has given me the wisdom to know that I cannot just sit and expect food to land in my mouth, and has given me the physical strength to go and provide for all of my basic needs.

There really is a great deal of truth to the saying "God helps those who help themselves."

Seriously, you are reaching here dude.

Oh really. Interesting way to look at the Bible. You must really not like Christians or came across ones that are not really doing what they should.

I think God is telling us not to put our mind into worrying about our life. He has it all under control all we need to do it trust Him.

im really curious as to why everyone feels the need to dis each other cause of their religion. I't like dissing someone cause they are gay or something stupid like that. Everyone should just live their own life and stop being so ******* judgemental of the way others live theirs!
