When you see them expounding a verse and ignoring another, call them on it. I know what you’ll hear. They’ll say, “that’s from the Old Law and we aren’t under the Old Law anymore”. Trip them with this: “But aren’t the Ten Commandments part of the Old Law?” “Yes, but we are obligated to follow them because they are reported in the NT” (Matthew 19:16-18, Mark 10:17-19 & Luke 18:18-22). Immediately point out to them that Jesus omitted half of the Ten Commandments and invented a new one, “though shall not defraud” ! Before they can get a word in edge wise finish them off with: “According to scripture it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of law to fail” (Luke 16:17 & Matthew 5:18-19). If sin is transgression of the law, as 1 John 3:4 says, then you should be following all of the Old Law.

Our work is BELIEF in Jesus Christ.

If anyone does not believe in Jesus, then they must follow all of the law. And we know that is impossible.

John 6
28Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"

29Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

To eelai000.

The ones who chose not to follow didn't believe look at Peter's respond when Jesus asks him if they want to leave also.

John 6
61Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, "Does this offend you? 62What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit[e] and they are life. 64Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. 65He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him."

66From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve.

68Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

Empty words? I don't think so.

Yeah!
Those damn Christians!
They read all this Jesus stuff and think they know right from wrong.
What's even worse...they actually try to do this "love thy neighbor crap"!
Isn't a good thing that they fail every time.
Isn't it great that they espouse a greater good but can't live up to it?
Aren't we better than them that we just ignore right from wrong and do whatever we please?
Yeah!
Damn those Christians for trying to be better than us!
We know better.Don't we?
Trying to be better than the animals we've evolved to be is a waste of time!
We're no better than a pack of wolves thirsting for blood!
What a bunch of fools those Christians are for trying to think we can attain any higher morality than the protoplasm we evolved from.
If we know we are fallible and cannot achieve perfection...
Why try?
What fools these Christians!?!

Jesus' new commandment was that we should love God above all and to love our neighbors as ourselves. The law hangs on these two, meaning that if we follow these two commandments then the ten commandments would apply. If you have love....you will not want to kill, steal, commit adultery ect.......

truth

EDIT:

TO THE FELLOW BELOW ME.

Jam 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jam 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Jam 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Jam 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Jam 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

Jam 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Jam 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Jam 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Jam 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way?

Jam 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

your bible is flawed.

EDIT2

spoken4

you forget:

Jhn 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

but he never shewed them a sign so that they should believe. he only insisted that he was the bread from heaven, without any works to prove so.

that is why

Jhn 6:66 From that many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

because he was only a man of empty words.

Oh Good....you're reading your Bible...its funny how something that obviously you don't believe in and try to ridicule it, yet there you spouting verses from the Holy Bible. I'll pray that one day when you think you are going to find something good to "catch a Christian in the act" you'll run along a verse that strikes something in you. God works in mysterious ways my friend, you never know when he'll come knocking on your heart asking you to let him in. and reading that Bible is a good way to start. :) God Bless and have a wonderful day :)

And just why are you picking on the Christians?

What have they ever done to you?

You would have to look this one up for me but didn't they say 'Don't judge unless you want to be judged?'

Lighten up!
