Clear up burn on Child's forehead?

A few weeks ago through my family, I met a women who has moved interstate. He daughter is 2 (same age as my son), so I have befriended her to get her into the community, help her meet other people etc.

When her daughter was about 1, she got a circle burn on her forehead from a hand blender without the bottom on it, that the child stuck to her forehead. Since then she has a red/pink burn mark that just wont go away. I would like to know if anyone can suggest something that I could buy or make that would help heal this 2yr olds scar, that is a year or so old?

She needs to see a pediatric dermatologist. He/she might be able to advise you of some way to clear this up. However, she might need plastic surgery. I am not aware of anything that you can buy without a prescription that would help.
