Bush mentions God in his speeches because he heavely relies on conservative voters to support him. If there was a high percentage of Muslims in the country and a Koran Belt running through the South, he would be saying "Allah Bless America".
Its a political gimmick.
I mean, come on, the man even got the 10 Commandments wrong during a speech. I nearly fell off the couch....

The Laws of Men and the Laws of God are two different things. God's law is perfect, right, true and just. Man's law is imperfect, not always righteous, sometimes unjust, but generally good and necessary. The closer Man's law comes to the standard of God's law the more just it will be.
God has put the governing authorities in place and allows them to rule. These authorities can be agents of blessing or sources of corruption and a cursing of the people they rule.
God's justice will prevail when all things are judged. The authorities themselves will have to give an account of their governing before God at judgement day.
As for immigration and the current situation in the USA of millions crossing the border and residing in the US illegally, that is a huge and complicated issue.
Some points:
1) The US government has failed to enforce its laws and has allowed this situation to reach the enormous magnatude it is today.
2)US businesses have for decades used illegal immigrants as sources of cheap and unregulated labor. Illegal people don't form unions and stand up for their rights in labor issues.
These people have often been taken advantage of because of this. This is a situation the government for political reasons has done nothing about.
3) When immigration law isn't enforced it creates an uneven playing field for those businesses who don't hire illegals. Many to survive in competition against those who rely on illegal labor have given in and been forced to use illegal labor as well.
4) Man made laws are just that they are man made, made to give stucture and order to a society. When they cease to perform the function they were intended to they need to be changed.
5) God's law says that we are to treat the alien well. The alien is not to be mistreated or taken advantge of.
All this said I purpose that the US government acknowledge it failures to enforce the law that has led to this huge problem.
I would encourage them to right the wrongs, treat people with kindness and justice and make a workable law they are willing to enforce.
Please accept this US citizen's apology to the Mexican immigrants. I am sorry our country has failed to acknowledge the wrongs it has done on its part. I must add that one should never flippently break the laws of a country. I believe that the Mexican immigrants also must learn to respect our laws. This is not Mexico, we do have laws and are governed by them.

Bush mentions God because he knows the majority of the US believes in a God. You are not stupid enough to believe Bush believes in God. He just knows where the political power comes from. He uses God for control just like all politicians from the beginning. Dont you know all these Bible thumpers love to hear Bush mention God. As we are the only superpower left in the world so we will mention God any damn place we please.

To me it sounds like you are mixing up a few things there.
Bush mentioning God doesnt mean that he is religious, he is just making use of religion.
Religious people favourising Bush doesnt mean all of them are satisfied with him, its just picking the one eyed man over the blind one.
And "In god we trust" being on the money also means:
Money is God in this nation.
And now consider the fires, storms and floodings happening in the US and then make up your mind if God really loves the US....

Bush isn't a state. He is a citizen with the right to free speech just like the rest of us. If he had attempted to pass a law concerning God I might see your point.

I genuinely have prayed with my brow to the floor on assorted activities. assorted the time according to a acceptance of the majesty and glory of God and a tangible experience of the presence of His Spirit. I genuinely have in simple terms felt that kneeling replaced into obedience to the Spirit of God. maximum Christians quickly too. Fasting is a sturdy prepare. If you don't want to follow the laws in USA country, then move to another country, and follow their laws, or do you not want to follow laws.
