The reasons for why the Holocaust happened are infinitely scarier than how it happened.
The Jews were herded into cattle cars, stripped of their belongings, their clothing, their hair...then they were either gassed or worked to death in concentration camps.
The Russians died in battle.
Neither blood is more important than the other--but the reasons for the Holocaust are more dangerous, and this is why the world figures the Holocaust was so terrible, because it can happen again.
