What a concept!
What if "faith" isn't the most important thing at all. What if living as a humanitarian, loving your fellow man etc, is what God had in mind all along and he put forth scriptures as a test to weed out the bad people?
Isn't my version better? I can guarantee my version of Heaven would judge people based on their character and the content of their heart. Sorry Jeffrey Dahmer, you can't come to Heaven even if you've repented. Gandhi is also invited.

I grasp your concept completely, but it's actually inaccurate. If god existed, and he knew he was god, he couldn't possibly be an atheist, because that implies that he wouldn't believe in his own existence.
What you've delineated is a god that simply thinks all of the people who follow him are idiots, and adheres to humanitarian ideals. That doesn't make him an atheist, since he's certain of his own presence.
I don't think any version of heaven is ideal. It's a ploy to divert people's attention from the importance of this, our only life.

I am glad that God is God and you are not. A lie is the same grade as a murder in God's world. But if you believe that Jesus his son is Lord then both indiscretions are completely forgiven. I like God's way better....because no one is perfect.
