The most attractive thing to any man who is looking for a partner is a happy confident woman. Her weight, breast size, hair color, eye color and skin color isn't an issue.
Be true to yourself and your own life and the right man will come along.

Congrats on the effort. Believe me it will make a difference in how you feel about yourself. All of a sudden you will become more confident. That will attract new friends and potential dates.
There is no specific weight, there are men out there that like women all sizes. It is generally the confidence and personality that you reflect that will draw people to you.

Many men would ask you out NOW! Not all men are looking for someone who is skinny and bony. Put your best personality forward...go with confidence, and you will find people will react positively toward you. If they don't...then it's THEIR loss and they're NOT WORTH YOUR TIME

Being thin wont mean that guys will ask u out, its true that guys prefer thin girls, not skinny and not large, and that looks are what first attract a guy to a girl. But personality is what will make them go from being attracted to wanting to ask you out.

You should lose the weight to be healthy. The average woman that is 5'4" weighs 147lbs. You should shoot for at least 50lbs.

Most likely everyone is going to say this but...why do you feel you need to lose weight so you can date? I don't get it.

you shouldn't loose weight for that reason only..do it for yourself and your health..I would imagine a healthy weight for 5'5" would be anything up to 145 lbs.
